Here’s a quick piece of advice if you’re selling something lower priced (<$500):
On the order form, add an order bump.
Here’s an example of what that looks like:
An order bump is basically a checkbox, a title and a short paragraph. Many order form apps have this functionality (ThriveCart, SamCart, Clickfunnels, and more).
With my client, we added a bump priced at $40 for a $50 digital product 8 weeks ago.
The results?
A “take rate” of 34%.
So for every customer who buys the digital product, a third also buys the order bump.
Let’s take a look at how the numbers look:
For every 100 customers, before we’d make $5000.
Now with this order bump, for every 100 people we make $6400.
That’s an extra $1400 for FREE (no extra ad spend) just by adding a simple little box to the order form with a headline and one paragraph (a total of 90 words).
Crazy, right?
(and this is before you add in the upsells)
Highly recommend you add an order bump if you have something that complements your main offer.
