“You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end, each of us must work for his own improvement, and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be most useful.”
Marie Curie
There really is no such thing as a “society” or a “culture”.

Which is why I believe so strongly in the power of personal transformation.
Because the reality is, you don’t change the world. You change the people who make up the world.
When a marriage is healed, that affect reverberates through generations.
When a leader learns how to be effective, that change ripples throughout the organization.
We build a better world by improving ourselves. And by helping others improve.
So even if you’ve got the ambition to change the world, remember that there is no world to change. Focus on changing each person, and you’ll do just fine.
