After a couple rounds of testing, we found these 2 *magic* words made a huge difference in the opt-in rate.
My client’s quiz opt-in rate jumped from 20% to 65%.
I couldn’t even believe how big an impact this had.
The words were…
“Almost there”
Seriously. Sometimes it’s the little things.
Small hinges swing big doors, and all that.
Now here’s the key…
You want to put these 2 words on the opt-in popup.
Here’s what I mean…
On opt-in pages, most times you have a simple page with a button.
Then when the visitor clicks the button, a box pops up asking them to enter their name & email to get the thing you’re offering.
And that’s where you put “Almost there”. You make it a headine, above the name & email form fields.
I recommend you test this out.
In this case, simplicity won (as it tends to)
Rather than some wordy headline explaining what to do, instead we met them where they are.
So close to the finish line.
